Ajax made a decision decades ago to keep its entire waterfront public, and it shows. The lake trail is the town's living room. Add solid schools, a GO station, and detached homes that still come in under Toronto's condo prices, and you have a lot of happy first-time house buyers.
Ajax refused to sell its waterfront to developers. That trail along the lake is why my Ajax clients never leave.
