Approximate, rounded figures for orientation. We look at live data for your actual search.
Canada's seventh-largest city hides in plain sight next to Toronto. It has a real skyline, a real waterfront, and a village (Streetsville) that seems to have opted out of the whole city thing. Newcomers land here in droves — for good reason.
Port Credit is my not-so-secret favourite: lake, patios, GO train. Streetsville feels like a village that forgot it's in a city of 700,000 people.

Getting around
GO Lakeshore West from Port Credit and Clarkson is the fastest suburban commute in the GTA. MiWay buses are extensive and the Hazel McCallion LRT adds a north–south spine.
Schools
Strong public and Catholic boards, plenty of French immersion, and the University of Toronto Mississauga campus.
Green space
The Waterfront Trail, Credit River valley, Rattray Marsh and Jack Darling Park. More lake than most people expect.
